Prabhas’s full name is Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju and he was born on 23 October 1979 in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India. His father Uppalapati Surya Narayana Raju (died on February 12, 2010) was a popular South Indian movie producer.

Prabhas made his movie debut as a lead actor in the Telugu action movie Eeswar (2002), directed by Jayanth C. Paranji and produced by Kolla Ashok Kumar.

After this, he worked in many Telugu movies but 2015 was the turning point of his life because that year he played the lead role in the epic action movie Baahubali: The Beginning directed by S. S. Rajamouli and this movie was the biggest Indian movie of that year.

After 2 years, in the second part of the movie named Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), Prabhas was again seen playing his leading role and this movie made a new record at the Indian box office.

Prabhas’s Sahoo movie came in 2019 and Radhe Shyam’s movie in 2022 but the movies didn’t get good reviews from audiences.

Currently, Prabhas is one of the costliest and biggest actors in Telugu cinema.

Nag Ashwin Direct and Vyjayanthi Movies are producing this movie with a budget of 500 crores. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone are playing lead roles in this movie while Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani will also be seen in important roles.
