RRR 2 Release Date, Star Cast, Trailer, Makers, Budget

The renowned director of Tollywood’s RRR, NTR Jr., and Ram Charan, S.S. Rajamouli, is prepared to give the sequel. A number of box office records were set and broken by the Pan India movie, which went on to become the largest hit.

The RRR craze spread beyond of India as well, with several well-known international actors and filmmakers praising the movie and Rajamouli’s direction.


With his pan-Indian blockbusters like Baahubali 1, 2, and the most recent biggest smash, RRR, S.S. Rajamouli, who is credited with revolutionising the Tollywood film industry, has announced the sequel to the latter.

Rajamouli revealed the movie is still in its early stages during a viewing event in Chicago. The director disclosed that the sequel’s plot is being written by his father, Virendra Prasad, a screenwriter. He didn’t share many facts regarding the movie, though, as those are kept under wraps.


The epic action movie was dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam and premiered in Telugu on March 25, 2022. The movie made Rs. 223 crore on its first day, and between Rs. 450 and 485 crore globally over its opening weekend.

The movie, which had an estimated 550 crore rupee budget, grossed almost a billion rupees at the global box office in just 16 days. After Baahubali 2, Dangal, and RRR, only four Indian movies have achieved this feat internationally; KGF 2 is the newest member of the elite group.

RRR was recently released in Japan after winning millions of hearts through exclusive screenings and on-demand releases. Ram Charan, NTR Jr., and Rajamouli recently paid a visit to the nation to support the most well-known Indian movie worldwide. In Japan, it was released on October 21. In 17 days, it has brought in about Rs. 10 crore.


The movie, which is directed by D.V.V. Danayya and produced by his company DVV Entertainment, stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR as two Indian revolutionaries named Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, respectively. The fictitious sage investigates their bond and struggle against the British Raj.

In addition to the main protagonists, the movie also has a number of other actors, including Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, and Ray Stevenson. MM Keeravani is the composer of the movie’s music.
