Samantha Ruth Prabhu was born on 28 April 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, she is one of South’s most popular actresses who works in Telugu and Tamil movies.
She started her career with modeling after completing her commerce degree from Stella Maris College, Chennai.
Impressed by her look in 2010, director Gautham Vasudev Menon cast her as the lead actress in the Telugu movie Ye Maaya Chesave opposite Naga Chaitanya.
That year, she also appeared in the Tamil movie Baana Kathadi directed by Badri Venkatesh, and gradually started ruling the hearts of the audience while doing more Telugu and Tamil movies.

Release Date: 1 September 2023
This movie will see the life of two lovers of Jammu and Kashmir and Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in the lead role along with Samantha. Murali Sharma, Mohammad Ali, Vennela Kishore, and Jairam will be seen in important roles.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana, this kushi is being produced under Mythri Movie Makers and the film was earlier scheduled to release on December 2022 but then the release date of the film has been postponed to September 1, 2023.
