Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruti was born on 28 January 1986 in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India, and works in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi language films.
Apart from being an actress, she is also a very good singer and runs her own music band The Extramentals.
In the year 2000, Shruti was seen for the first time on the big screen as a child actress in the movie Hey Ram directed and starring Kamal Haasan. This was a film based on the murder attempt of Mahatma Gandhi and she played the role of Vallabhbhai Patel’s daughter.
Then at a young age, she started her acting career with the Bollywood film Luck (2009). In 2011, the actress debuted in Telugu cinema with Anaganaga O Dheerudu and in Tamil cinema with 7aum Arivu.
She has worked in many films till now and continues to impress the critics as well as the audience with her acting. Last time Shruti was seen in the Blockbuser Pan India film Salaar Part One (2023) in the role of Prabhas’s girlfriend.

Ready to hit the theaters in April 2024, Dacoit is a Telugu romantic action thriller film produced under the banner of Annapurna Studios starring Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles.
The dialogues of this film have been written by Abburi Ravi, Danush Bhaskar has handled the cinematography, and Bheems Ceciroleo has given tremendous music.
The makers shared the 1-minute 27-second thriller title teaser on 20th December 2023.
2- Salaar Part 2
