The release date of Sunny Ki Tulsi Kumari was announced along with Title
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor pair are once again ready to entertain the audience in the upcoming romantic comedy film Sunny Ki Tulsi Kumari.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, this film was announced today by sharing the motion poster along with the title and release date.
Karan Johar announces his next film starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor
Filmmaker Karan shared a motion poster on the social media platform Instagram account in which information is given about the star cast and the entire team, he wrote in the caption “Your ☀ Sanskari is on his way to get his 🌱 Kumari! This love story wrapped with entertainment is coming to the big screens!💟 #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 18th April 2025!”

The film will be released on this day
The makers plan to release the film in theaters during the Good Friday weekend on 18 April 2025. Packed with a love story and comedy, Sunny Ki Tulsi Kumari is being produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan under the banner of Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan is the director of this film. The pair of actors were earlier going to be seen in director Shashank Khaitan’s Rannbhoomi but the work on the film has been stopped due to some unknown reason.
Let us tell you that Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have previously worked together in 2023’s Bawal. Both the actors have already appeared in some of Karan’s hit films in which Varun has worked in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, And ‘Jug Jug Jio’ while Janhvi worked in ‘Ghost Stories’ and ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’.
