Rising star of Telugu cinema Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming spy thriller action film Agent is all set to hit the theaters on April 2023.
Surender Reddy, who made his directorial debut with Ethnokkadi (2005), is the director of Agent and this is his 10th film. The last time he made 200 crores big budget Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019) starring Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Tamannaah.
The shooting of Agent started in Hyderabad in July 2021 and after shooting at different places in Visakhapatnam, Himachal Pradesh, and Hungary, the filming was completed in 2022 Last.
Talking about the crew and makers, the story of Surender Reddy’s film is written by Vakkantham Vamsi. even before the writer and director worked together in Ashok (2006), Kick (2006), Race Gurram (2014), and Kick 2 (2015).
Sunkara Rambrahmam, Anil Sunkar, Pathi Deepa Reddy, and Ajay Sunkar are producing under the banner of AK Entertainment & Surender 2 Cinema.
Distributed by Goldmines Telefilms and B4U Films, the film’s music is composed by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi, the cinematography by Rasool Ellore, and the editing by Naveen Nooli.
Star Cast
Akhil Akkineni is playing the role of a spy in this film and has done a lot of work in his body for this character. Sakshi Vaidya is making her acting debut as a lead actress in Agent.
Sakshi Vaidya is starting her acting career as a lead actress with Agent and only after watching the film you will know how she performs in acting.
Dino Mori as God, Vikramjeet Virk as deva & Nabin Luhagun are playing important roles and Veteran South actor Mammootty has a brief appearance in the character of Colonel Mahadev.

On 18th April 2023, the makers released the trailer of this pan-India action film which has been viewed more than 16 million times so far. Lots of action is being seen in this 2-minute 19-second trailer.
On July 15, 2022, the filmmakers shared its first teaser, in which Akhil is seen in full action with comedy and his body is looking very strong. Its first Malli Malli lyrics song arrived on 22nd February and you can watch both videos below:
