Alangu Release Date, Teaser, Trailer, Star Cast, Makers & More
The Tamil movie Alangu, directed and written by Sakthivel Perumalsamy, will be released in theaters on December 2023.
Based on true events, the film stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Kaali Venkat, Sarath Kumar, Regin Rose, Shanmugam Muthusamy, Kotravai, Amirtham Gunanidhi, Idhayakumar, and Master Ajay.
The title Alangu was announced on August 29, 2023, with the sharing of the first poster, which shows the actors opposite each other in serious poses.
Its shooting work has almost been completed and has been filmed in the dense forests of Idukki and Attapadi in Kerala, Theni, Kambam, and Anaikatti in Tamil Nadu.

Alangu Makers and Crew Members
Sakthivel Perumalsamy’s Alangu is his fourth film as director and writer. He is best known for Urumeen (2015) and Payanigal Gavanikkavum (2022).
S.A.Sangamithra and D. Sabareesh are producing it and D.Shankarbalaji is serving as executive producer.
Talking about the crew members, S. Pandikumar did the cinematography, San Lokesh did the editing, P.A. Anand did the art direction and Dinesh Kasi did the stunts while Vishnu Edavan and Mohanrajan wrote the lyrics of the music.
Alangu Release Date
The makers shared the title and first poster in August 2023 but the release date is yet to be announced.
According to some reports, the makers plan to release it in theaters in December 2023. For now, we will have to wait for confirmation.
About Alangu
Alangu is a high-action film based on real events that happened near the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. Its story will show the conflict between the tribal youth organization of Tamil Nadu and the political party of Kerala.
Along with this, the important role of local Tamil dogs of Alangu species will also be seen, which is also known as war dog.
