Disha Patni was born on 13 June 1992 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. She is an Indian actress who started her acting career with the Tamil movie Loafer (2015) directed by Puri Jagannadh.

In this movie, she was in the lead role opposite Varun Tej, but the movie did not perform well at the box office.

Then she appeared in the 2016 music video Befikr and in the same year featured in the lead role alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani in the Bollywood movie M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Disha also played an important role in the Hollywood movie Kung Fu Yoga (2017) and was seen in many Bollywood movies Baaghi 2 (2018), Bharat (2019), Malang (2020), Radhe (2021), and Ek Villain Returns (2022).

Director Ashima Chhibber is making a movie based on the life of producer Ekta Kapoor, in which Disha Patani will be seen in the lead role while Abhilash Thapliyal and Vijay Raaz are also playing important roles.
