The upcoming Bollywood movie Raid 2 starring Ajay Devgan and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles will be ready to hit the theaters on 15th November 2024.
The shooting of this most awaited sequel started on 6 January 2023 with the Puja Muhurat which is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the banner of their production company T-Series and Panorama Studios. The film will be shot in different cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Raj Kumar Gupta is the director of Raid 2. He has also directed its first part which was released in theaters in 2018 and did a business of 153.62 crores with a budget of 40 crores. In this blockbuster film, Ileana D’Cruz played Ajay wife’s roles while Saurabh Shukla and Amit Sial were also in the lead roles.

Ajay Devgan shared a picture of the Muhurat shot on social media platform Instagram on Saturday. Ajay, Vaani Kapoor, and Telugu actor Ravi Teja were seen together in this picture. He captioned the post, “New Case, New Beginning! #Raid2 officially kicked off today, and the energy on set was nothing short of electrifying! Raid 2 Release Date
The makers have planned to release Ride 2 in theaters on 15 November 2024. Currently, the shooting of this film, based on the story of a real-life raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department, has started in Mumbai and will be completed in a few months.

Vaani Kapoor is playing the character of Ajay Devgan’s wife in Raid 2. Vaani is also working on two upcoming film projects. The first project is Maddock Films’ Sarvagunn Sampanna in which she is playing the character of a girl who looks like a porn star. The story of this film will be full of humor of the 90s. Apart from this, she will also be seen in the crime thriller OTT show Mandala Murders produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
Talking about Ajay Devgan, this year he will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, Neeraj Pandey’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, and the sports drama Maidaan.
