Sam Bahadur Zee5 Premier date
Vicky Kaushal’s biographical action war movie Sam Bahadur is all set to hit the theaters in December 2023 and has started shooting in Punjab in August 2022. According to the source, all its shoots will be completed in March 2023.
Who is Sam Bahadur?
Sam Bahadur is also known as Sam Manekshaw and is the first field marshal of the Indian Army. He served in different army positions in his career and has also been a part of the Gorkha Rifles.
In his 40-year military career, Manekshaw has fought 5 wars, including World War II, Indo-Pakistani War (1947), Sino-Indian War (1962), Indo-Pakistan War (1965), and Indo-Pakistani War (1971).
Bangladesh country was created by defeating Pakistan under the leadership of Manekshaw. Due to his patriotism and bravery, he was honored with Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan by the Indian Government.
He was Born on 3 April 1914 in Amritsar, Punjab, and died on 27 June 2008.

Raazi (2018) and Chhapaak (2020) fame director Meghna Gulzar is directing the film and has written the dialogue and screenplay along with Bhavani Iyer and Shantanu Srivastava.
It is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of Rsvp Films. Ronne has produced and co-produced more than 80 films till now and last time he was the producer of Dhamaka (2021).
Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonsa, and Ehsaan Noorani have composed the music for Sam Bahadur and previously worked together for the music of Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), May Naam Is Khan (2010) and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013).
Famous for the lyrics of the songs of the Academy Award-winning film Slumdog Millionaire (2008), Gulzar has penned the lyrics for the songs of Sam Bahadur and Jay I Patel is handling the cinematography.
