The upcoming Kabzaa 2 is a sequel to the 2023 superhit Kannada film of the same name, directed and written by R. Chandru. Upendra and Kiccha Sudeepa will be seen playing their respective characters again in the film.
Recently, director R. Chandru announced that he is investing Rs 400 crore in his four upcoming projects which include Kabzaa 2 as well as DOG, FATHER, and Shri Rama Baana Charitha. Chandru said in an interview- “I want to do something different, I don’t want to aim at the streetlights, I want to aim directly at the moon.”
Produced by K.P. Sreekanth and R. Chandru under the banner of RC Studios and Siddheshwara Enterprises, the story of the film will show Bhagwan Veer Bahadur capturing his wife and children and dreaded gangster Arakeshwar pits himself against officers Bhargav Bakshi and Siddhant in the final battle for supremacy.
Kabzaa 2 Star Cast
In Kabzaa 2, the star cast of the first part Upendra, Kiccha Sudeepa, Shriya Saran, and Murali Sharma are reprising their characters. The cast and their characters are as follows:
:- Upendra as Arkeshwara, a former Air Force pilot-turned-gangster
:- Kiccha Sudeepa as Bhargava Bakshi, a ruthless cop
:- Shriya Saran as Madhumati Bahaddur, Arkeshwara’s wife and Veer Bahadur’s daughter
:- Murali Sharma as CM Veer Bahaddur, Madhumati’s father and king of the Bahaddur dynasty during the British Raj.
Kabzaa 2 Release Date
The shooting of Kabzaa 2 has started and the makers plan to release the film in 2024 but the release date has not been announced yet. This pan-India film made with a budget of over Rs 100 crore was announced in mid-April 2023 and will be ready to hit the theater in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages in December 2024.
