Kannappa is an upcoming pan-India Telugu film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and will be released theatrically in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages in 2024.
The story of this multilingual film being made on a large scale is based on Kannappa, a great devotee of the Hindu deity Lord Shiva.
Produced by Mohan Babu under the banner of AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, this mythological film stars Vishnu Manchu in the lead role while Kajal Aggarwal, Madhoo, R. Sarathkumar, and Mohan Babu are playing supporting roles.
Principal photography of the film started on 25 September 2023 and 80 percent shoot was completed in different locations of New Zealand, which includes Auckland, Rotaryua, Glenorchy, Wanaka, Pukaki, and Christchurch.

Vishnu Manchu is playing the lead character of Kannappa, a devotee of Lord Shiva. Apart from being an actor by profession, Manchu is also a producer, educationist, and businessman and was last seen in the horror comedy Ginna in 2022.
Beautiful actress Kajal Aggarwal is the female lead, apart from this she will also be seen in Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan.
Talented actors Madhoo, R. Sarathkumar, and Mohan Babu are also a part of the film and play important roles.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the screenplay of Kannappa has been written by lead actor Vishnu Manchu, while Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, G. Nageswara Reddy, Eshwar Reddy and Thota Prasad have worked together on the story.
Mohan Babu is producing this 100-crore big-budget film under the banner of his projection company AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.

The makers plan to release Kannappa theatrically in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages by the end of summer 2024. Currently, the final work of the film is going on and very soon the makers will also announce its release date.
