Love & War is an upcoming romantic action film by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
The lead actors, title, and film release date have been announced by sharing a poster on 24th November. Last time Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022) was released, in which Alia Bhatt was the lead actor. This film was a blockbuster with a business of Rs 209.77 crore with a budget of Rs 100 crore.
The filmmakers are making Love & War on a huge budget and according to some sources, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will be enemies of each other in the story of this film, which is being made with a budget of more than Rs. 100 crores.
Love & War release date
With the announcement of Love & War, the shooting preparations have started and the makers plan to release the film in theaters on a large scale in Christmas 2025.

Love & War Star Cast
The makers have shared the details of the star cast with the audience by sharing the first poster of the film. The poster shows the names and signatures of lead actors Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Alia Bhatt along with the release date.

Ranbir Kapoor was last seen with Bobby Deol in the high-action film Animal while Alia Bhatt was seen with Ranbir Singh in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Earlier, both of them had worked together in Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva.
Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur was released in 2024 which was a super hit with a business of Rs 128.16 crore on a budget of Rs 55 crore. Vicky Kaushal will be seen on the big screen for the first time with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in Bhansali’s Love and War.
