Raayan Release Date, Star Cast, Trailer, Teaser & More
Dhanush’s upcoming Tamil film “D50′ titled Raayan has been announced with the first poster. This is a gangster drama film in which Dhanush is in the lead role while SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamura, and Sundeep Kishan are in supporting roles.
Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, the executive producer of Raayan is Sreyas Srinivasan, the director & writer is Dhanush, A. R. Rahman is the music composer, Om Prakash is the cinematographer, and Prasanna GK is the editor,
After Pa Paandi (2017) this is Dhanush’s second film as a director, which is made with a budget of around Rs 100 crore and is ready to hit the theaters in 2024.
Raayan First Poster
On February 19 at 6 pm, the makers revealed the first poster of the film along with its title on social media. In the poster, Dhanush is wearing a blood-stained apron and is holding a pointed object made of iron in his hands while behind him is a food van in which two people are holding weapons in their hands and there are two burning papers nearby.

Raayan Release Date
Currently, Raayan is in the postproduction stage and its release date is yet to be announced by the makers. According to some reports, the film will be ready to hit the theaters in the summer of 2024 and the release date will also be revealed as soon as the first teaser is out.

All About Raayan
The filmmakers began principal photography in early July 2023 after announcing the tentative title D50 in January 2023. The first schedule was shot in the set of Aditya Ram Studios in Chennai and all the shooting work was completed in December. Produced under the banner of Sun Pictures, Nithya Menen plays Dhanush’s love interest in this film.
Talking about the makers and crew members, Om Prakash has done the cinematography work, Peter Hein has choreographed the action scenes, Prasanna GK has handled the editing work, Jackie has done the production design, Musician A. R. Rahman has again composed music for Dhanush’s film after Raanjhanaa (2013), Maryan (2013), and Atrangi Re (2021).
