Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming most awaited film Merry Christmas is all set to hit the theaters on December 2023 in Hindi and Tamil languages.
Directed by Agent Vinod and Badlapur fame director Sriram Raghavan, the first poster of this film arrived on July 17, 2023, in which both the lead actors are seen in a serious look while the makers have kept the color of the poster similar to the movies of the 80s.
Jointly produced by Ramesh Taurani, Jaya Taurani, Sanjay Routray, and Kewal Garg under the banner of Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures, Merry Christmas was announced in December 2021.
A few days after Katrina’s marriage to Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021, the shooting of the film started in different cities in India, which is now complete.
Based on the ups and downs of a couple’s relationship during Christmas Eve, the film has music composed by Pritam Chakraborty, cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan, and editing by Pooja Ladha Surti.

According to some media reports, filmmaker Karan Johar is upset with the new release date of the makers of Merry Christmas because, on 12th January 2024, his Yodha film is also coming into theaters in which Siddharth Malhotra is in the lead role.
